Advance Computing are seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer to join our team during an exciting period of growth.

Advance Computing are a leading Microsoft Gold Partner focused on innovation, professional development and enabling our clients to achieve more through IT. Located in northern VIC we’re proud of our region with clients both in country VIC and across the east coast of Australia.

As part of the software development team you will be responsible for ongoing support and software development of our core product offerings in addition to custom software and report development.

Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and possess strong problem solving skills. They must be able to work in a team environment, have the ability to multitask and a willingness to learn through both on the job and external training.

The role will be based in our Kyabram, VIC office (2.5 hours out of Melbourne).

Duties to include :

- Research, design, development, testing and delivery of software modifications & enhancements

- Systems and process analysis

- Support of developed software

- Maintain code documentation and system manuals

- Attend both on the job and external training

- Follow and maintain system documentation

- Other tasks as required by Management

Skills required :

- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

- Self-motivated

- Positive attitude

- Ability to multitask

- Ability to work well within a team environment

- Problem solving and persistence

The following technical skills/experience will be advantageous :

- Windows development: .NET, WPF

- Web development: HTML5, CSS3+, ASP.NET (incl. MVC 5+), JavaScript

- Mobile development: Xamarin, Native

- Database: Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)

- Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio
